GROUP DESCRIPTIONS:

Each group is listed with a category and brief description.

Belonging = Focuses on building Authentic Community.

Beholding = Focuses on Spiritual Growth and discipleship to Jesus

Becoming = Focuses on a perspective shift to live out a passion for the lost and a life for the glory of God.

Partner Training (BECOMING) - This group is for those who are interested in learning what it means to become a Chapel Partner. Participation in the group does not necessitate partnership, but it is the next step.

Practicing the Way (BEHOLDING) - This group learns about the practices of Jesus and seeks to begin putting them into practice together.

Essential Guide to Becoming a Disciple (BEHOLDING) - This group will work through eight interactive sessions on what it means to be a disciple of Christ; what you are committing to as a Christ follower; and what will be required of you if you identify with Jesus.

Sunday School Group (BEHOLDING) - This group meets on Sundays after the 9a service to go deeper as disciples of Jesus and build community together.

Chat Group (BELONGING) - This group of adults ages 60+ have been around The Chapel for a long time. They go through various Bible studies and enjoy great fellowship together.

Mo MEN Tum (BECOMING) - This group of men will focus on growing and building momentum to be the men God has called them to be.

Men’s Group (BELONGING) - This group has been meeting for years at The Chapel. If you’re looking for a great place to get connected, build friendships, and be encouraged in faith, this is your group! Wednesdays at 6a.

Women’s Group with Bridget (BEHOLDING) - This Wednesday women’s group meets to go through various studies to encourage one another in faith and life.

Women’s Discipleship Group with Paige (BEHOLDING) - This women’s group will focus on what it means to be a disciple of Christ for growth and multiplication in the Kingdom.

2 Timothy Bible Study Discipleship with Kris and Tim (BEHOLDING) - This group will journey through 2 Timothy together to learn how Paul’s instruction to Timothy can be applied to our lives so we can effectively lead others to Christ.

Women’s Group with Jennifer Kline (BEHOLDING) - This women’s group goes through various studies to encourage one another in faith and life.

Women’s Group with Genia Crane (BEHOLDING) - This women’s group goes through various studies to encourage one another in faith and life and help one another hear from God together.

Perspectives Missions Course (BECOMING) - This fifteen-week group is focused on mobilizing God’s people for God’s global purpose. Learn what God’s heart for the world is and where the local church and each person can find their place.

Men’s Community Bible Study (BEHOLDING) - This men’s group journeys through the Bible together to understand it and apply it to their lives.
